I was not implying the first responders did anything wrong. In fact, I'm impressed the driver is still alive . . . the reports I'm seeing say the driver continued to hold up the replicas and that an officer kicked them out of the driver's hands.
If this is a mass killing that did not involve any fatalities involving a gun, then I want that distinction to be clear.
On the one hand, I'm glad that the evidence is growing that guns are simply a tool that POS's use and that they can and will use other tools. This weakens anti-civil righters' argument that guns are too dangerous for individuals to own.
On the other hand, I'm sad because it means the POS's are finally beginning to learn that guns are not always the right tool for the job.
