I was just in Murdock’s in Bozeman trying to find a Legion. A woman ahead of me was buying two boxes of ammo, .44 mag. Apparently a bear got into her goat pen this morning, and she ran out and shot it with a 9mm. Bear ran off but did not die. She called Fish and Game, and they told her to get a bigger gun. So she was in getting ammo for it!

FWIW, a guy I knew in Az years ago had a place in Mexico he visited regularly, he had flare guns in all his vehicles. No problems with Mexican customs.
Back on topic somewhat, I had bear poop in my driveway last week. Think it was a small bear.

An HK flare gun was my EDC flying through Canada on a number of trips, until it got stolen in a burglary.
