    I can pee outside.
Ain't no bahr, but we've had a pretty big red fox nosing about, surely after the chickens.

My dogs got darn close to it in a chase the other day, but got away.
The 22 is back behind the back door now.

Bears are coming out already according to the radio. An uncommonly warm fall through December, one very cold spell in January, then warmed up again to 40s and 50s.

I usually dont have to be too concerned to step outside at night in the winter, but I look around now. Not only are bears possibly out and about, deer have been coming in the yard poaching the bird feed.

Obviously not scientific but still intresting and I don't think it's totally irrelevant. Simulated bear head vs common bear defense guns. Would have been nice to see something lighter than 10mm.

His videos are a hoot and it's interesting to see some of the insane stuff I've only read about being shot.

There were two Cyclops at the local gun show - $375 and 400. Probably overkill for the local black bear. No, I'm not worried - LOL. The police shot the last one that wandered into town and refused go away. BTW, at the Cabelas in TX, a dude was buying a pump gun and wanted blanks to scare away bad guys and the clerk suggested rubber 00. No bears in Central TX.

I didn't know how bad moose interactions could be, especially with dogs, until I read Winterdance by Gary Paulson. Very eye opening.

Hopefully Faloo recovers from her injuries.
Just a dog chauffeur that used to hold the dumb end of the leash.

Mother bear euthanized and cubs to be relocated. Looks like a housing development near woods, near a small town. Kind of like my area.
