To be fair, Carter has done good work since becoming ex-POTUS. While I don't think there's a Dennis Rodman chance in hell the NORK problem is going to be solved without U.S. rockets, bombs, and caskets (sadly), if Carter wants to put his ancient ass on the line and go into enemy territory, I say let him. Somehow I can't see him making shit worse.

I suppose the real threat is if one of those liberal, billionaire CEO-types from companies like Amazon, Target, or Apple throws their hat in the ring as an independent.
If the GOP/Republican/RINO/conservatives can't get their shit together there's also the possibility of an independent candidate on that side, in which case the Dems could walk anybody through the election.

It may seem that way. However, take a look at this list and notice that about 60 members of Congress have a liberty score of at least 80% - a "B":

I will not vote for any candidate with a score less than 70% which is why neither Virginia Foxx nor Richard Burr, both Republicans, earned my vote in 2016 and I will not support Foxx in 2018.

Perhaps if more people did their research and stopped voting for Republicans with D's or F's just to stop Hillary, Nancy, et al.

Dude... I just typed Washington state in, for giggles. I now need a stiff drink, and I’m not even done with breakfast yet.

If Trump does get re-elected the Dems will have to pick a real piece of work in order to lose in 2020. Think Hilary Clinton's mind in Bernie Sanders' body with Michael Jackson's craziness. I'm not putting it past them though.
The more interesting question will be, when the Democrats retake the House in 2018 and make major gains in the Senate (Bannon will help them there by his avowed aim to start primaries on incumbents) will they attept to pursue impeachment or just have 20 investigations?

It’s only a problem if you keep drinking them throughout the day.

I’m not necessarily against primarying some GOP senators. All of Bannon’s targets have Liberty Scores that are in the toilet; it’s hard to distinguish some of them from democrats. My biggest concern is the people that Bannon backs as the alternative. Case in point - Bannon backed Roy Moore, a certified clown, over a proven conservative in the form of Luther Strange. Keep in mind that Strange has a solid A Liberty Score and would have likely easily won against his late-term abortionist Democratic opponent. Now, the GOP is wasting valuable dollars defending a seat that should be a gimme.
