We do all remember that Arnold Schwarzenegger was the Governator of California, right...?

    You're welcome.

So he’s like Carter, only with billions in his war chest, and 96million lemmings following his posts... what’s there to be worried about?

Envision the youth vote wirh the R’s running an asshole against him. Stranger things have happened. Or not. Nothing surprises me anymore.

Except california has a long history of electing "actors", so that's not that out of the ordinary.

So is Bloomberg, and even the basketball team owner guy who's always on TV (Edit as noted previously Mark Cuban). One thing for sure, it won't be Clinton. Without the (warranted) hatred Clinton garnered, Trump is going to lose substantial votes from 2016. Further, Trump was a bit of an unknown quantity. He's very known now, with extremely high negatives. The civil war in the Republican party is not going to help him. His base is not enough to win against a half decent opponent.

Speculation is Carter wants to leave a better legacy and there is probably some ill feelings between the Carters and the Obamas.

Since Rosalynn’s (Mrs. Pres. Carter) focus as first lady was mental health, <snip>

She told me that she was left out of a first ladies lunch held by Michelle Obama on the issue of mental health, making it clear that she was still hurt.

Don't underestimate the Democratic party's ability to find really sucky candidates. No matter what Trump's negatives are, the Democrats will be able and willing to provide someone even more loathsome to the general electorate.

    Good point.

Also Flake announced he said is retiring. That puts his Senate seat in play and the Republican majority to just one I believe.

Don't forget that the Dems are just as beholden to the "Woke" special snowflake SJW Che wannabes as the Repubs are to the gay hatin' social conservatives.
