    (ETA: I have no idea how I acquired a pair of left-handed 1911s... Replaced with a pic of the correct side, facing the right direction. Except that, through the magic of the Internet, the old pic is still at the bottom of the post. Anybody got a 6 year old I can borrow to teach me how to use this thing...?)

    (The wife's Star BKM second from bottom. She had her heart set on a PD ! but naturally the month before she made her decision the local supply dried up. I think she's better of with a 9mm, and infinitely better of with her P320. The Star's not a bad gun, but it's old, and there are pretty much no replacement parts.)

    Wife is an RN. Hemostats are awesome, and so handy. I bought a variety of shapes and sizes from Amazon a few years back. Used that pair to gently hold a stubborn standoff while removing the screw.
