Just so you know, Glocks and 1911's get along really well.

Yeah but when they pair up they really do a number on your wallet.

    Troof.

Especially so because two tones are a weakness I am currently fighting. Every time I see one I start counting my coin and pricing parts from Caspian and wondering if Brownells will give me a discount because I've spent enough there to buy a few cars...

You shouldn't talk. Each time you talk about how you built a 1911 I keep thinking "Well that sounds like it might be fun..."

Just picked this up from Fedex. Jim Garthwaite built S.70 Repro. All of Jim's DNA shows up in the details. When you pick this up, it just feels like a Garthwaite. Kart Barrel, Vickers FCG, trimmed King's 201 safety, Wilson BTGS and mag catch, Heinie sights with modified rear profile, etc. All of Jim's personal touches are throughout this build

I built this to be a forever gun. This is a rare gun for me in that I ordered it for myself, while I normally buy pre-owned customs.
