Another note on the stag grips.
Today was the first shooting session with them in place. Their thickness is standard on the centerline, but they don't taper as much toward the outter edge, so they're slightly thicker overall, but hardly the massive slabs of antler like so many grips of the type. The texture of the bark also lends a nice grippy feel. The result is a very nice fit to the hand that anchors the gun in-hand as if it grew there. Considering my arthritis, this is a big bonus and a very nice surprise. I bought them for the sex appeal, but the practical benefits are certainly value added.
