On a side note, where in the actual fuck did you find a real-life Commander hammer? Those things are like Turkey lips.
Ate up the party pack of 185 Flat Points, 200 SWC, 230 Ball, 230 HST, and 230 Speer so I’m satisfied it will run anything.

Haha the hammer is a Harrison design part.

Sweet! Harrison Design. Might have to pay them a call. Thanks.

ETA: Thanks for the links. When my dad passed in '02 I inherited his pistols, one of which is a SA Mil-Spec. Bone stock. Took me a while to figure out what to do with it and I ended up building it out like a high-end custom would have been in the '70s. Smith N frame rear sight, stippled front strap, that sort of thing. I wanted a Commander hammer but could not find one.

I've long since given it to my son but I think it may have to come back into the shop for a new hammer!

    Thanks again.

My "used pistol pics" aren't of a gun anywhere near as nice, but I'm simultaneously pleased with the relative durability of Brown's stainless finish and also pleased at the developing holster wear after a little over a year of use.

The gun only has just over 2000 rounds through it due to the ammo situation (but my dad got tooled up on 9mm reloading and sent over a generous supply, so I'm about to fix that when weather cooperates), but a lot of dry fire and carry.

It's a work in progress - I think a few more years of constant in and out of JMCK holsters will make for an interesting before and after...

Maybe? I'm an incredibly unathletic person so I'm having a hard time remembering the last time I held a basketball. I do have some long ass fingers though!

I think @SW CQB 45 still has bigger hands than me.

You make that 1911 look like a Mustang.

There’s a reason I really don’t like tiny autos like the Mustang clones!
