I've been a big fan of 230gr SNS coated bullets and around 4.4 grains of Bullseye. Out of a 5" gun, it barely ticks past major and is a about as easy to shoot as a Commander framed 9mm.

Went to the range for some rifle work but shot the new-to-me TRP. I forgot how wonderful a 1911 is to shoot and how accurate a tuned 1911 can be. The IDPA target was a left over - ignore the little holes - the clean 45 SWC holes in the middle are from the TRP. Six 8 round mags of 185 SWC over Bullseye in the center from about 15 yards away.
A few mags at 20 yards, I threw a few but I’m happy with this.
Ran two FAST drills this was the second of the two, room for improvement but solid for me.

My Pachmayr Colt. At the time I would never guessed that production 1911s would be as good as they are today. It's been over 30 years and I still can't get over how much I spent as a 1Lt. I still have the original Goodyears it came back with but I put the Pachmayr G10s on to dress it up a bit.
Nothin’ to see here...
