I bought mine used and didn’t pay nearly that much.
I’m of the opinion that it’s a very nice $2000 pistol. I think $3200 is the going price for them these days, and I think they’re way overpriced.

A Baer is $2K and is a POS compared to a Pro. I think they're overpriced at $3200 too, they're comparable to a CQB and would be better at $25-2800.
This is a project pistol based on a 1911 course with Cylinder & Slide. Base pistol was a Springfield mil spec. and reliability polishing of internals etc. I have enjoyed working it up to this state.
The LB Operator is all I took deer hunting today. Loaded with Hornady 220 grain +P Critical Duty. Alas, deer did not cooperate.

Haven't carried this in forever, decided to take it with me today because reasons. It's not 9x19, not double-stack, not TDA...but on observed Veteran's Day it just felt right to carry a 1911.
