Never mind that at 21, I had seven 1911s. Then, I sold them all and had been 1911 sober for nearly 10-years. Only to inherit my dad's 1911 and in four months that's turned into two 1911s and a third (20)11 forthcoming. With plans to build a CCO this coming winter and maybe buy a Colt Mustang XSP for pocket carry...

6119 rounds. 2162 since the last failure. Had some extractor issues due to being too long. Brass wouldn’t sit against the breech face.

Have 3 Baers. All needed tuning on the extractor.

That's a commonly overlooked issue, good on you for catching it. I have a gun with a "proud" extractor but it hasn't given me fits......yet.
