    Wow. Impressive. That will be quite the collection. They each have their own style. That's one of the things I love about the 1911, history aside, is the variety of outcomes you can get from them. From shiny gorgeous BBQ gun show piece to cerakoted optioned out entry gun the variety is endless and when executed by a top smith, priceless. Do share those with us once you get them please.

    Colt still makes two-tone guns with blued slide. The Combat Elite for example, but the finish is nowhere close to as nice as the beautiful gun in Mr. Burton's pictures.

    That is a very classy pistol.

    Finally have them in hand! The wait was tolerable, though he is getting busier so if you want something from Combat Precision, no reason to wait.

    His/Hers matched set; .45/9mm.
