Was feeling old and new school today. Now the trick question - which of these designs is the old school and which is new?

This was my Christmas present to my lovely girlfriend. She wanted a gun she can shoot in IDPA, USPSA and IPSC so decided on a single stack minor so it was close to her limited gun as possible.
We just received it back and I am really jealous. I designed the front and back strap as well as the cocking "serrations". Spec built on Jem slide and frame.

- Fluted Nowlin Barrel in 9x19
- Techwell Magwell IPSC legal
- Hot blued for a good mix of old and new.
All the work was done by Southwest Gunsmith Technologies and it is crazy good.
