I’m looking at either that, or an orange .125 version of the Trijicon HD. I think Ed Brown sells them.

I don’t know if they make them for Springfield dovetails though.

Edit: Nevermind you could probably get one to fit properly with some filing.

@ranger , very few thing qualify as heresy. Gold plating and Wilson grips on non-wilson guns are good examples. but changing a front sight? you're clear

Well, I could but it would look like crap. My gunsmith could though.

Just FYI, 10-8 and Harrison Custom both sell fixed rear sights that will work with the TRP Operator in case you don't like the buried adjustable one.

Dawson helped me out with my Ruger, and they have a nice rear replacement with FO dots that are smaller and I quite like. Turns out the Ruger rear that looks like a Bomar is a Kimber pattern, and they had one (that I got on the third try...). I would sure think they have a front that would work.

I remember my first time with a 1911......
You can get much more of what you want with a kind word and a gun, than with a kind word alone.

Your first time with 1911 is awkward, you don't know what you're doing at first, and it goes by too fast.

But it feels so good that you want to do it again.

A good choice. I have an MC Operator, it wasn't my very first, I think maybe my 3rd. It's the only one I still have.
