    Some new rosewood from Herretts. Have a similarly figured set of magwell cut slabs for when (if?) I get around to putting a magwell on the TRP. Hard to appreciate the figure in a photo—there is a serious amount of shift and depth in the figure in natural light.

    I was worried about whether smooth slabs would feel less controllable, but that 20 LPI checkering is not letting the pistol go anywhere.
