That is a very nicely done 1911. I suspect you will put a lot of miles on that gun. It is true to Col. Cooper's thoughts: Reliable, with sights you can see and a trigger you can manage. I like the simplicity of that gun. Add some good leather and a pile of mags and ammo and drive on. Thanks for sharing.

Sometimes I keep them, sometimes I swap them out with VZs. I had planned on putting VZs on this one, but I really like the grain in these stocks, so I’m going to keep them for now.

I like the looks of them, but way too slick. I’ve got VZ Operators on all of mine.
