He was trying to properly dispose of it. Probably couldn't stomp it deep enough if it came back up.

I thought that was how you tensioned a new extractor. Have I been doing this wrong?

Shenanigans continue. Is Filipino steel strong enough to resist the very force of nature that laid Captain America low?

    I can pee outside.
    My Kimber Pro CDP II.
Bought this back in 2012. Living in NJ at the time, I sent it to Kimber for a once over even before shooting it.
They found a cracked frame. While their warranty is only for the original owner, they made good and forged me a frame, and fitted my parts to it.
Essentially, a semi custom gun, and shipped it back with new sights too!

The Springfield Range Officer Champion, 9mm.
It's been flawless, just runs and runs!
4# trigger job and an am ambi safety added.

Update: Filipino steel is stronger than ice.

Also, I know Rock Islands aren't "good" 1911s, but the three samples I've had have all be relatively reliable, accurate, and good to shoot. I largely attribute that to the active IPSC/USPSA culture in the Philippines, because while maybe the small parts aren't going to last 30,000 rounds, the guns tend to work.

I don't know, I've kind of got a soft spot for these RIA guns I get to test.

Generally I carry a Glock, but something about a Superbowl party just calls for carrying a chunk of steel.
