Agreed they should have went with a better safety. Would like to try that trigger. The beavertail on this looks way out of proportion I think, way too long.
Am I the only one that thinks Sokol Hi Powers look awesome? That thing takes "beaver tail" to the next level (I'd be worried it's gonna build a dam in my backyard).

Handled one of these in my LGS. Gorgeous but the trigger was not what I would want in a $3300 gun.
There are still a lot of people who can and will customize a HP, who produce work better than what I've seen from NH. I personally use MARS, but wish I'd gotten around to Garthwaite and Yost.
I always tell myself I'm gonna ship my old Izzie MkII to some smithy to pretty it up...but other things (like money) get in the way.
