-- When we open the door to go outside, if we're not careful, Lucy will shove past us to go out first, even if she's not invited. She does not then gallop down the street like a normal stupid dog. She stands there, on the stoop, in a hard overwatch. We come out, and she slinks behind us and goes back inside.
My new little girl we adopted back in April just turned a year old. After almost ten years with my last best friend (my avatar), I forgot just how much work it is to properly train a pup. It doesn't help that she's so damn smart that I swear sometimes she's mocking me. She's a sweetheart, an athlete, and very patient with my 3 yr old. I don't quite know how people can live without a dog?
