I was out of my bed for five minutes and this little grave-jumper took over.
If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.
Meet Penny.
Actually Miss Moneypenny, a la 007.
She popped up at a Mini-Schnauzer breeder in Orlando in November, and we decided it was time for us to get another dog. She is only 4 months old, and full of energy. Wearing us out for sure.
But she makes us smile and brings a lot of joy into our lives.
Hektor, who is 6 months old and the latest addition to our household, would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas...

Ophir turns 11 today. He still moves like an 8 year old. He fetches like a crazy boy and loves his SAR work.

My daughter got her first deer back. Scout and Lilly had to check him out.
New addition to the house. Local rescue, one of a litter of three, five-ish months old. Mom is also at the shelter and appears to be a smaller black lab, and it looks like the other dog was likely a purebred Great Pyrenees or something with a lot of Pyr in it. In addition to the pups' coloring and size, one of them has double rear dew claws, and ours has singles.
She is extremely calm and absolutely people-oriented (consistent with the Pyrenees suspicion), and has spent all night just wanting to hang out on a couch with a human. She's not big on our Golden's attempts to play, but I think they'll warm up to each other.
Just looking at him you know he’s a good boy…
