I 'inherited' two cats - they were actually big kittens - from my daughter when she moved. I took them home, penned them in an outdoor kennel for about a week to imprint them, got them vacced, spayed/neutered, hung nametags with my phone number on the back, and turned them loose.
One ended up on the next block, I still see him once and a while. The other stayed in out general vicinity. He pretty much goes from my next-door neighbor's to my neighbor who lives next door to them. He spends a lot of time in either house but is primarily an outdoor cat. They feed him; my part is taking him in to get his shots. Life is good for Junior.

Baby Shark AKA Kaja hanging out with me in the basement. It is funny, my other GSD thinks the camera is going to steal her soul and she runs from it. Kaja hams it up for the camera.

Lotus came home yesterday after I picked up his ashes. He’s on the shelf with Talon and Gracie.
