"He had to put Apollo down last weekend because he had a genetic problem with his heart and was going into congestive heart failure and his lungs were filling with fluid. The pup was around 8 months old. I always have a hard time putting my dogs down, but trying to help my son deal with his loss was probably harder.[/QUOTE]

I know the feeling, hope you guys feel better down the road.

Sorry to hear. That happened to our last Yellow Lab.
Try to remember the funny things he did.

I was playing around with accessory placement on the handguard, and she comes along and shows how much she likes that SOPMOD cheek weld.

My Husky, Kurama…we just call him Kermie. He turned 2 in February.

This pic was from January when we got about 3 inches of snow.

He’s actually kindof aloof sometimes, which is odd for his breed. I think he’s taking time to bond to us. He’s also terrible at settling down when tired so that cuts down on lap time.

That said, I’m typing this after he just came into my study and demanded I put the guitar down and pick all 55lb of him up.
