    My hunting buddy, Boomer. Rescued him from the pound 5 years ago. I'm guessing he's 10-11 now...starting to slow down a little bit. Been the best dog I've ever had. Gonna be hard for the next pup to top him. Think he has one more duck season left in him. He absolutely loves hunting and retrieving for me. When he's not hunting he's a spoiled couch potato.

    I think there is a good bit of DS in him.

    He was at the pound. I suspect he is Dutch Shepherd and some kind of heeler. He has spotted feets.

    The pound estimated his age at 8-12 months.

    My family and I are thrilled and I suspect he is too.
