This stinker just about killed me yesterday. She was uphill in the yard and sprinted down hill at me. I thought she would veer off, but no she blasted into me at mach 2.3 and knocked me on my butt. She really is a fur missile.

"... And miles to go before I sleep".
Daughters friends asked her to check in on their dogs while they are traveling. Somehow, that turned in to the dogs staying at our house.
Fortunately, they are incredibly smart, well behaved and very affectionate pups (not really pups at ~ 2 and 4 years). The blue one is full Aussie, the other is Aussie/Malamute.
Took them ~48 hours to learn that the kitchen is off limits.... And we're all getting a dose of cattle dogs trying to manage us, when they are not trying to sit in out laps. I wish we had something for them to do, other than watch us do office work...
It's rained 3.5 inches here since last night.... not a lot of walks today.
Anyway.... I feel like doggy grandpa... Enjoying having the grand-dogs visit but already looking forward to giving them back to mom and dad...
