Miss Sunnydays is on new chow. Seems to be working well. She is Down to a svelte 14 lbs from 17. Love my sweet doggie.

Having had two late, dearly missed English Mastiffs, I STRONGLY recommend purchasing an enormous stockpile of hand towels to carry around with you whenever you're near your pup. I couldn't start to count the number of innocent folks who were drive-by slimed by my mastiffs over the years.Originally Posted by Gun Mutt

Maddie Lou, one of our two rescue mutts. Not sure of her ancestry, but she has the body of a hyena with a little head. Think there's some terrier in there too, based on the attitude. Photo taken last Christmas.
So our Husky, Loki, came home a week ago yesterday. His face sometimes shows as a picturesque fox, sometimes much more wolfish and he's definitely a lot fluffier than any Husky puppy either of us has ever seen. My wife took him to our vet last Tuesday and he said the lil bugger weighs as much as his Akita did at 2mos...are we sure there wasn't a Malamute in the wood pile?
Meh says us, a Huskalute? We're good with a bit of mutt, obviously. And frankly you don't really notice that your pup is a Dire-Wolf in the making when you've already got a 4mo old pony puppy. Loki was in the house for less than a full minute when he assumed the alpha-puppy role and Porter the cowardly lion was surprised to learn there was such a thing.
They hate each other and nothing cute happens in our house, and certainly not all day every day.
