    My first pup did that. Luckily my furniture wasn't expensive, just some hand me downs for my first apartment.

    After that, I taught them to be crate trained.

    It was something I got out of the divorce and was on the replacement list anyway. This just accelerated the time table.

    After his initial "settling in" period he hasn't bothered anything. Considering that he was a rescue and was obviously beaten in a previous life I am quite pleased with his progress.
