@blues - glad your pup got a reprieve.
I was just out pruning some of the super old apple trees on our place when the wife came out with the four “pups”. This is Smokey aka Roscoe, a 12/13 year old three-legged Blue Tick who showed on the porch a while back. He went from “definitely an outside dog” to sleeping on a Serta dog bed in the living room. That missing leg doesn’t seem to slow him down at all. Anyway, he plopped down right up on this cut limb. Maybe he was just enjoying the smell of fresh cut apple. Who knows. Super cool dog though and we are happy to have him as long as he lasts.

@Ichiban, I’m truly sorry. While the hurting is real, wouldn’t it be worse if they had never been our friends at all? Their love and friendship outweighs the loss, however untimely it may be.
