    Here's what I'm liking about this solution. I can grab that DP3 battery and an add-on that'll give me power to run a rooftop AC in my (new) van for ~4 hours, and an Ecofloow alternator charger for when it's in the van.

    But, I can also unplug that DP3 & battery, connect them to that generator, and power my house, the MIL's house, a bounce house... whatever the hell I want for however long it takes the generator to run out of fuel which, with this design, could be basically never, AND I can set the generator to only run to charge the battery at times when the noise is not bothersome to me while also kicking on should the battery just be in danger of going dead.

    gonna dent your wallet pretty hard too.
    but if my local utility is going to keep on with the increases, I'm going to have to start looking hard at rolling out my own solar and "hide" it from the town somehow.
