Ran this today. G-17 concealed at 3 O'clock under a heavy winter coat.
Per Drill test: 3.25 -1 2nd try: 3.13 -1 3rd try 3.38 -1 Arrrgh!! 4th try 3.95 -0 Finally
Drill 1: One shot each run. First shot was 1.07, all the rest were well within par 0 down.
Drill 2: Two shots. 1st shot 1.11 5th shot was 1.16, rest were within par 2 misses total.
Drill 3: Three shots. All but 2 were slightly over par 5 misses total.
Post Drill test: 2.89 clean.
I shot this cold in the cold.
As I warmed up, my shooting was better. Was my post drill test better because I was warmed up or because the drill helped me? 2.89 clean is what I usually shoot a Bill drill in when I am warmed up. This drill is a lot about index and not fumbling anything. My wife ran it too and she agrees that it is about index and trusting your sights to be where they should be.
