We should take this opportunity to switch over to Aussie Rules Football. Now that's a game of athletes. I'd bet that under 20% of NFL players could be pro level players.

I would prefer some serious attention and televised Rugby (sevens is much more fun TV wise). I would be a total addict.

I was off Ford years ago but am forced to drive them at work.

Our Explorers are losing transmissions at an alarming rate and odometer mileage number. Not to mention some guys have bought their own CO monitors and those are going off left and right.

I replaced a solid '04 P74 Vic that had 170k with a 2011 Explorer Limited and I'm almost positive it was a damn downgrade in the maintenance and reliability department (front end sounds like it's falling off at 97k, the moonroof is nothing but trouble, and the Sync system is garbage). Pretty sure a 4WD Toyota TRD something-or-other will be replacing it within the next 12-24 months. I miss my damn Vic . . . [/hijack]

For me an honest point of clarification.
I love college football.
Watching Ohio St win in the last seconds was so much fun.
So- yes- if the NFL goes tits up, okay.....
But I love watching a bunch of kids play football.
Watching Ohio State play is a serious part of my childhood and my kids childhood.

Depends on where you grow up and if you went to a big college. I just see college football as amateurish games shoved into a bizarre bracket, other people love it to death.

Probably the best game I've seen in person was an Ohio State - Michigan game up in Ann Arbor back when Archie Griffin was playing for Ohio State. The Buckeyes came back to win in the final minutes of the game. We were sitting right above the end zone where they scored the winning touchdown. Place went nuts.
