Ambi-Safety Install on 1911

Hi,

had a quick question for the board. Was curious how difficult it is to install on ambi-safety on a 1911? Unfortunately I'm a lefty, and just picked up a custom shop Springfield that only has the single-sided safety. I've never installed an ambi safety, but am somewhat decent with basic (very basic?) gun mods and such. Just wanted to see if this was something that is doable for someone without sending it off to the gunsmith for 2-6 weeks. If so, any recommended resources before hand?

It's not a drop in part and will require some fitting. Here is a good video to give you an idea of what you are getting into.

Difficult enough that the first "gunsmith" I took mine too screwed it up bad enough that I had to take it to a real, top notch gunsmith.
