HK will no longer to sell weapons to Israel

Known as Germany’s deadliest weapons manufacturer, Heckler & Koch will no longer being selling guns to war zones or countries that are corrupt, including Israel, according to the company's most recent report.

I guess this will help keep the generations old master plan alive under the guise of ethics and morality.

    Only slight sarcasm intended.

That is very disappointing. I'll be boycotting HK. I imagine Israel can do just fine without their products.

    As I noted here: https://pistol-forum.com/showthread....l=1#post649974

The Israelis have one, a single, HK weapon currently listed in inventories, the HK P11 underwater pistol, which hasn't been made since the 1970s.

All of the Israelis main small arms come from Israel, the US, Sweden, or some of the various former Soviet Bloc countries.

So HK declining to sell guns to Israel matters not to the Israelis and I suspect this is more "for show" than "for substance".

This is not HK's fault, but the german government's. There are far more effective sanctions that could be applied to Israel if so desired, anyway.

    I couldn't care less...

    Nor the israelis, I suspect.

" Company directors have also promised to consider setting up a compensation fund for victims of its guns, although it remains unclear how such a fund would work. "

Why don't they convert all production to plowshares and be done with it.

The German mind has really been screwed with since the end of WW2. No wonder they keep voting for Merkel and the ongoing invasion. You've even got this mentality in a leading arms manufacturer. (Haven't read that this was forced on them by the government.)

Agreed. And I don't use HKs so my boycott will be for show as well. Still can't help being pissed off that they are siding with terrorists and against a country surrounded by enemies who have declared repeatedly their plan of genocide.

Wasn't really the point I was trying to make.

(Given that I "used to be" in the business of investigating arms imports and exports amongst other things, I have a passing familiarity with many of their weapons and systems.)
