So the grip is not as massive as I remembered but wow it makes the Glock look small. I tried a buddies USP 9 and I didn't think the trigger was horrible. It felt better than the Da/SA P30 I tried.

Have you shot the USP at speed much?

I read a guy who claimed he CCWd a USP45 and USP9 at the same time. The USP9 was his backup gun.
You're both welcome. As previously stated, I haven't shot the USP yet but I will see how it shoots soon. I'm getting 400rds of S&B .45 later on today but the range I go to that lets me rapid fire is closed for the entire week due to the hurricane here. Quite miffed about that part. You could probably ask GJM and Darryl or anyone else how it shoots, they would do a better job than I probably can.

For now, I'm going to get the front sight painted orange, get some grip tape to cover the meat tenderizer front portion of the grip and dryfire it a bit.

    Does this included single handed?

Fine control wise, but she finds the LEM trigger harder single handed, than a Glock trigger. Of course, I do to.

Alhambra, CA PD has issued USP and USPc .40’s since 1999 or so. Still going strong. A couple of us carried personal USP .45’s. The only broken parts I’m aware of is a trigger guard broken on the skull of a bank robber. All are V1/2.
The first indication a bad guy should have that I'm dangerous is when his
disembodied soul is looking down at his own corpse wondering what happened.

I'm assuming you have to buy a LEM and then send it back to HK to have it modified to "match hybrid LEM"?

I'm tempted to pick up a full size USP 45.

The USP is fully configurable. Buy any USP FS, and they can be bought inexoensively on GB, and send it to HK CS. I think the match hybrid LEM is about $125.

Threads on this forum tempt me to do a lot of things. Like spend money unwisely.

Interestingly, I have been EDC'ing my USP .40 V1 lately. Currently have been using a Milt Sparks VM-2, but haven't been too happy with 4:00 carry... mostly tend to prefer appendix carry. That said, I just ordered Mitch Rosen Sport Express for the USP .40... will be trying it somewhere between 10:00-3:00... hopefully not disappointed.
