Got mine ordered. More than the BT, but within the margin I was willing to accept, and I'm looking forward to meeting it.

I think it'll fit my favorite carry holster, so if it runs like a Beretta should, it could end up being "the" carry Beretta. OTOH, my normal carry is an M9A1 Compact, and if the longer grip doesn't hide as well as I'd like, I'll have to look into AIWB options....which I'm currently doing anyway.

For all the heat Beretta took for a looong time about a lackluster catalog, they've certainly done a lot better the last few years, haven't they.

After shooting the new CenTac as is, next thing I do is drop that slide on my Wilson Compact and try it.

Here's a question...

Are the barrels any different on these, compared to regular 92s? (These = CentTac/CompTac)

For instance, I believe it says "stainless" on the top of the barrel? Does that suggest it's a different construction/quality compared to regular 92 barrels?
