The end of last year I added a 1050 to my work bench (650 on the other end). Had to do a bit of "statergery", as space is tight. After 20 years, my 650 started breaking here and there*. Even though Dillon replaced the broken parts, I didn't want to be down for any amount of time. Also, Dillon has done REALLY good by me, so I it felt real good to throw some business their way.

*broke the lower knuckle 2 years ago, and broke a strut last year.

I like reloading, but getting the press set up is the most tedious bullshit in the world.

After President Trump's speech at this year's NRA Annual Meeting in Atlanta, I saw Don Jr. walking around the show floor, browsing the latest wares and shaking hands. He spent a lot of time in the Beretta booth. Must be a PF member.

This is known, he's a pretty focused precision reloader.

Also, @GuanoLoco is rich and he reloads.

    I am rich? Cool.

I don't feel rich but the news that I am (or at least LL thinks I am) makes me happy.

Now If I only had more time to practice.
Are you now, or have you ever been a member of the Doodie Project?

And it seems like I get in the middle of one thing and run out of another thing, why I ended up getting the second 550. Now that I transitioned to a 650 and a 550 I am afraid I stepped onto a slippery slope...

    ??

I use a turret press and all my dies are preconfigured on individual turrets. The only set up I do is bullet seating and powder measure adjustment. If I'm going with an established load, there's no set up at all, just verification of settings.

This is why I have 6 tool heads for my 650 and 2 tool heads for my 1050.

Loading has nothing to do with saving once you start shooting . Its a pleasure you get being self sufficient doing something you like AND enjoy. reloading for me is as enjoyable as shooting itself. I know a lot of people are going to think I am crazy.
