Finally tracked down a set of Heinie Strait 8's, they seemed to be on backorder everywhere I looked. I still wish the TCAP was an option, but these will work.

    AAAAHHHHHH
My DCAEK kit isn't working correctly in my new compact.
I'm consistently getting a very loud click before the wall

    Dammit, S&W

Would you be able to go back and reinstall it piece-by-piece checking each time you see if it is a individual or a compound effect?

I mixed and matched Apex and OEM parts and the issue persists. If I had to guess, it's probably an S&W issue.
I'm not super familiar with the M&P (Glock dude) but here's a video of what I think is going on. If that's not how the gun actually works then please teach me lol

I'll be shooting an email to Apex later.

I suspect the tail on the end of the trigger bar may have bent slightly during re-install. As you press the trigger and the bar moves rearward, it falls off the sear when the bar straitens out. If you disassemble it agin, check that that tail is not bent. That tail rides right under the sear actuator. On my compact it moves side to side freely without hanging.

Ah, so that bar that's in the cutout of the sear housing block is supposed to be completely straight?
Not sure how I would have bent it downward.
This is how it looks now:

At least you found the culprit, did it fix your issue?
