Let me clarify, I want the 4.25" full size slide on the compact frame.

On the 5" they have the stupid LCI on top which from what I have heard gets in the way of milling for the RMR.

Will that work? M&P isn't like the Glock.

I have one I need to finish. The pin will need to be cut off and glued in.

I'd be interested in how that turns out.

I was half joking. I only have a 1.0 compact to look at but the only problem I see is w/ the backstraps. I am not sure if they could be secured properly. Sorry I should have used an emogi.

Here are two pretty informative Vid reviews of the M&P 2.0 fulsize and compact pistols. The 2.0's different barrel twist rate, rifling profile, crown and its slightly longer in battery dwell time has apparently solved the accuracy issues of the Gen 1 M&P 9mm pistols.

Do you guys notice a double click on the reset? The first one is just when you let off but does not allow the true reset, second click is further forward.

I have a serious case of the wants for one of these. But I must focus on pizza guns.

I had the pleasure of being in a free state last week for work, which gave me the time to visit several LGS'. I will say, the entire 2.0 lineup is pretty slick. Love the stippling. Thumb safety still feels a little "wrong" for my 1911-trained hand, but I'm sure I could adapt to it. If I didn't have a sickeningly large number of rounds through GLOCKs over the last 30 years or so, I'd be sorely tempted by the 2.0 compact with TS...
