Very nice! The 4" 19 is my favorite K frame centerfire. My dads was the first centerfire pistol I shot as a kid. The local gun shop had reload wadcutters for about $4/box. Besides buying 22s as often as possible, Id buy a box of wadcutters once in a while to shoot his gun.

That is a pretty revolver. I still believe the Model 19 Combat Magnum is the best general purpose revolver ever. Carried several over the years when the revolvers still ruled the roost. My retirement gift to myself is a 19-4 and I will always have one in the house.

A 19-3 was my first revolver. Like they say, you should never trade any off. Someone gave me a box of those grips years ago. They're down the basement doing nothing. I take a peak at them once in a while.

    Very nice.

I acquired a Model 19-3 nickel 6" brand new at about age 22 and still have it, and it rarely comes out of the safe. Last year I found a 19-5 blue 4" at a LGS, enough holster wear to add some character and that's the one that often goes to the range. If I'm able to break away from the office long enough to go to Dallas in November, that's the one that will go.

Beautiful 19 Doc. That HiTs course is fun. I shot it with my 19.

Great gun! I have two 19-3, one 2.5 inch and one that started life as a 4 inch and has been cut down to a 3 with an interchangeable front fiber optic site. I haven't wanted to shoot anything else since the 3 inch was finished a couple of months ago.
