    Thanks for the info, guys!

I put together some rough numbers using Federal's ballistic calculator and velocity data from Ballistics By The Inch. 25 yard zero seems to be the nuts.

SMGs were by policy a 50 yard zero for a long time. I finally put together enough info, and combined them with some practical application exercises, which promptly changed the actual zero in use to 25 yards. Didn't change the book, but it got changed in the field where it actually matters.
You can get much more of what you want with a kind word and a gun, than with a kind word alone.

So, technically, a 75 yard zero?

Since I also zero slugs at 25, this puts the 9mm carbine, shotgun and pistol very close, making it easier for me to remember their trajectory.
Likes pretty much everything in every caliber.

I always zeroed my issued MP5s at 25 yards.
Just a dog chauffeur that used to hold the dumb end of the leash.
