Has anyone found Gen5 .40 mags anywhere?

I have not, The only difference I see in a newer Gen4 mag and a Gen5 mag that came with my 22Gen5 is the Gen 5 floorplate along with the follower that is orange and marked with a 10. The Gen4 follower looks the same except it is black and marked 9 not 10.

I have a Gen 5 Glock 17 and really like it, very low recoil even with +P.
Strive to carry the handgun you would want anywhere, everywhere; forget that good area bullcrap.

Picked up a back up gen5 19 yesterday and noticed a minor defect on the feed ramp when I got home.

Can anyone with more experience tell me if such a mark will potentially cause problems?

It seems small enough as to not matter but I’m not an expert.

Now I've got a 22.5 too and like it as well.
The thicker (heavier) slide is what Glock should have done with 40 pistols from the start.
Shooting the 22.5 then the 17.5 there was subjectively very little difference in recoil.
22.5 does not fit my 19/17 holster; but, it does fit my 20/21 holster.

The rounds should hit the feedramp well above that little ding. If they aren't, you can forget using JHP.

I'd call for an RMA. I'm too old to be unhappy with a purchase and that is just poor QA.

I second sending it back. Glocks aren’t super spendy but they’re not cheap. They also have good service, especially on a clear defect like that.

If you don’t it’ll always bug you a little.
