Just picked up a fresh blue label Gen5 G19 MOS/FS yesterday. Today I set it up to my usual preferences:

Nice! I need to put hands on one of these, I shot a Gen5 19 at a release event last year and the pinky cut drove me nuts. I suspect one of these will be much more to my liking.

This makes me wish I hadn't just poured $400 worth of Moog steering parts into my truck...

Is that just the factory RMR MOS plate?

Damn it!! No more being the first to get a new variant. Jumped on the first gen 5 19 along with the 19x, would trade both for the newer versions. (I hate the cutout on the 19, and I’ll admit it, I like front serrations) Really wish they had a non-mos version.

I guess I could always get the mos but seems to be a waste if not using an optic.

Negative. It’s the C&H Precision MOS plate. Big improvement over the factory plate in my opinion. It supports the RMR front & rear and it completely covers the bottom footprint of the RMR as well.

I just ordered a G19.5 MOs (as a lefty I love the FS) online Friday and decided to stop at my LGS. Lo and behold, they were just putting out a new one so I decided to take a preview of what was on the way. Really nice setup and the trigger on that particular example was pretty spectacular for a factory glock trigger. I think that my gen 4 19s are going to go the way of the do-do. I have no intention of putting a RDS on it so the MOS plate is a bit of a waste but I guess never say never! I'll hang on to my two G19.5s as they are both solid. Glock has really dropped some neat stuff lately.
