    One nice thing about Rugers is the lockwork is stainless with brushed finishes, so you can modify it without having to reblue, or accept the fact that you'll never match the S&W case. Should be easy enough to have your snowflake built, or build it.

    I don't see the advantage over the existing three inch. I did handle an immaculate 2 3/4 Speed Six today that fortunately was being held for another customer. Something in that size/weight range seems about ideal to me for a concealed carry revolver.
