Major ooof because the type M.
I have literally no need for another 92 and I carry a full size without difficultly, but I have a serious case of the wantsies...

I probably won't bother as if I do nab one of these, some Dawsons might be the sights I go to. I really like the sight picture of these on my G19 I'm currently shooting
Neato, I never knew this! The fact that I can stipple the vertec grips to my liking and only be out $22 makes this all the better. I think I'm going to have to sell off some of my gun stuff thanks to this thread.

Not another dime.
finally at a PC to do real typings and maths:
$349 for the pistol
$20 shipping
$40 NICS/Transfer
$409 total
used Beretta 92FS with 2 mags.
Thanks for the tip, Joe! I'm ordering one for a nephew in the morning.
Between this and the recent Brownells deal on S7W Shields, we are seeing some of the best deals on guns in a long time. I have other priorities right now but this is tempting.
If, by chance, someone gets a police marked 92, PM me, I pay well for certain agency marked guns.

Never heard of the Compact M type. Really neat.
$350 for a 92 is very tempting, but my next 92 will be railed and I don't have money to spend on guns that aren't exactly what I want.
That ToddG quote is from this threadThe Type M is the goofiest gun.
Beretta takes the 92 and makes it shorter in the butt and nose: 92 Compact.
Someone says it should be thinner, single stack: Type M.
Then some utter moron designs the grips for the gun to be extra wide so the grip feels identical to the standard double-stack 92.
True story.
A 92 Type is literally a 92 Compact in which you opt to run 8rd mags instead of 13rd mags. It's like asking the car company to rip out your gas tank and replace it with an 8g one.
