Ye jest- but Sig has made serious revenue selling Legions and Rainbow guns. It says more about the taste of modern gun owners that Cohen Sig Sauer is exponentially more profitable then West German Sig ever was.

James Keefe's column on the 320.

I can think of a whole lot of things to say, but maybe I'd better not.
If we have to march off into the next world, let us walk there on the bodies of our enemies.

I wonder how much that dude made to write that article.
    Think for yourself. Question authority.

The article was the Sig Ad. *rimshot*

On topic: I am on the sidelines on this one, but my enduring impression of Dropgate is how it was handled by Sig. It pretty much ended any thoughts of me owning any type of Sig Sauer firearm.

As a citizen and taxpayer, though, I sincerely hope that they do fix the gun, for the sake of our Military and LEOs using it. As to the private citizens, it is mind-boggling to me that anyone would pass up an opportunity to have their gun fixed, for free apparently, with a more robust design.

I think it was @scw2 who said it, but I sure do appreciate pistol-forum and the lack of general derpiness, which seems so prevalent online elsewere these days.

And if there will be another one titled....Shit, it really does do that?

I'm old enough to remember SIG being one step away from going under. Cohen actually saved them from collapse. We may (I do) hate how he has handled a lot of things, but they have become profitable where they were not.

I'd love to see SIG return to a quality focus! The entire 320 deny thing is just over the top, but I expect for profits to act in their best interest and not mine. Sad but mostly true. There is a fine line though where failure to do the right thing can seriously bit them in the ass. I'm not convinced this will be it.

He should stick to reviewing camping equipment which is his forté.

    Some additional fallout:

"SIG P320S BANNED FROM LIVE FIRE COURSES… AND WHY.

    -- Rob Pincus | August 15, 2017

Officially: Sig P320s that are not Improved to the new factory specs (or otherwise modified to reduce Drop Fire Risk) may not be used in I.C.E. Training Company Live Fire classes.

This was not a fast decision, nor an easy one. I wanted to wait until the Official plan from Sig Sauer was clear. Now that it is, it is VERY clear to me that this isn’t something they are doing to placate an overly nervous portion of the industry or anything like that. You can learn more about their plan in This Article from Recoil Magazine. This is a rebuild of hundreds of thousands of guns. I first addressed the issue last week, in This Article, but did not make the decision the ban the guns from classes until today after thorough consideration of the real risks to the students and other factors."
