    32 Short Rimfire

I wasn't sure if i should post this in the Ammo forum or her, but I picked here because....

I went to an estate sale in the general area and found a box of 32 Short Rimfire for sale. I picked it up because it was cheap (I paid 5 bucks) and I thought it was cool. The box only has 40 rounds in it, but they look like they have been stored well. Any idea on the age? There is no zip code on the address so it is pre-1963.

@RevolverRob says I am bound to purchase a 32 rimfire revolver now.

I am glad I didn't buy the boxes of 25-20 that were there.

I did buy a Redfield target sight set.

I can explain it to you. I can’t understand it for you.

If you buy a Smif Model 1 1/2 or 2 in .32 RF and some blocks of properly calibrated ordnance gel to shoot the ammo into, you can say you are doing it for science.
I was into 10mm Auto before it sold out and went mainstream, but these days I'm here for the revolver and epidemiology information.

I know we aren't supposed to covet... but can you blame me?

Tamara just made me say "OOOF"!

That is cool, and I an not really into such things. The attention to detail on that is impressive.

Ref Flamingo's OP, I am out of my lane on 32 stuff. Just judging from the box, I am going to say it is pre-WW2 as they shut down a lot of semi obscure stuff during the war to concentrate on production for the war effort, and I don't know if Western/Olin/Winchester ever did anything post war.

I have a few boxes of .38 ACP that are probably close to the same vintage.

And the bore & chambers are pretty corroded.

The real question here is "Do JMCK or DSG make an AIWB holster for this firearm?"

I concede the point to the gentleman from Idaho.
