    Leatherman with corkscrew

Lost my Juice C2 to the TSA this past weekend and am looking to replace it. Pretty sure I'll just go with the same thing, but are there any other options on the market that are similar but either better or less expensive? I keep in my back pack so I like having the other tools, specifically the pliers, but have also use the corkscrew a few times. I keep a Spyderco in the same bag so the knife blade itself is nice to have but not the primary function of the Juice.

i see they sell a Juice CS4 and Xe6 which both add scissors, which might come in handy too. Unfortunately none seem to have a pocket clip which is lame.

I really like the Skeletool CX. No corkscrew, but it will do 95% of the time.
From Older Offspring after a discussion of coffee:

"If it doesn't come from the Kaffa province of Ethiopia, it's just hot roasted-bean juice."

I carry a skeletool every day.

For this application I want the corkscrew.

Me too. I am a fan of multitools with pocket clips, don't see any usable ones with corkscrews out there. The SOG Switchplier 2.0 is reasonably priced and from a great company.

It might help to understand that I'm basically looking for a corkscrew that also comes with a screwdriver, pliers, and a knife blade.

This isn't an everyday tool, it's a tool that lives in a backpack with the understanding that since it is trying to do more than one thing it isn't going to be great at any of them.

I know I'm not answering the question you asked but...why don't you just get a corkscrew to keep in the backpack? The pulltap (https://www.amazon.com/Pulltaps-Doub.../dp/B0055OGPWS) is cheap and IMO is pretty much the best corkscrew out there.

I'll add that these are only $2 at Trader Joe's and yes they are the best out there.

have literally dozens of those around the house, but the reasons are varied and my own, but mostly having to do with the fact that if i keep adding unitaskers to the pack instead of multitaskers then I wind up with a whole kitchen and workshop full of shit in the pack. This pack is kind of our grab-and-go for anything having to do with outdoors, the kids, etc. Which is how the original Leatherman wound up getting nabbed by the TSA, as I didn't remember to fully purge it before the flight.

I'm starting to sense a trend here, which is indicating the Leatherman is the only option. Which is good, since I liked it.

I just got it yesterday, I like it better than the Skeletool so far. @TYR saw it, he dug it too.
