On June 13, 2020 Fort Worth Police Officer Matthew Brazeal was severely injured in the line of duty when he was intentionally struck by a fleeing vehicle traveling at highway speed. Officer Brazeal sustained life-threatening injuries and has undergone extensive surgeries over the past two days in order to stabilize his condition.

Officer Brazeal is a veteran of the United States Army, where he proudly served his country as an infantryman. He is a three year veteran of the Fort Worth Police Department and previously served the citizens of Parker County and Weatherford as a law enforcement officer. Officer Brazeal is a true American hero, who has dedicated his life to serving others.

Officer Brazeal has a remarkable family. It is heartbreaking that they cannot all be by his side as he battles through surgeries, due to COVID-19 restrictions. It is important now, more than ever that we show our law enforcement officers that we have their backs and that we support them.

Officer Brazeal is facing a very long road to recovery and many in our community have asked how to donate to assist him. Donations can be made to Assist the Officer Fort Worth in Officer Brazeal’s name at https://atofortworth.org/make-a-donation. Donations can also be made on this Facebook post using the donation link.

We ask that you please keep Officer Brazeal, his family, and all of his teammates in your thoughts and prayers. We also ask that you continue to pray for our city, our state, and our nation.

Assist The Officer - Fort Worth is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and donations may be tax deductible.

Officer Anthony Dia ,26, Was part of the Toledo Police Department, Toledo, Ohio. He was dispatched to a male on the morning of July 4th, When he arrived on seen at the Home Depot on Alexis rd, There was a intoxicated male that was not cooperating, That’s when the male started to walk to his trunk, Digging around when Officer Dia asked him to step away from the trunk and come out, The man then fired a single shot while running away, Striking Officer Dia in the chest area. He immediately called dispatch and his last words to them were “Dispatch” “Tell my family I love them”. He stayed strong. Home Depot has a memorial for this officer if you would like to donate flowers or anything else to the family. Share for helping the family of young Officer Dia. He leaves behind a big family, And big heart. Loving, And more importantly a one of a kind family man, Officer Dia treated his community as a citizen, Honorable person, Not just the word Officer.

Keep your head up Toledo. It’s a sad day for all of us to lose our own Officer in the line of duty. Our hearts go out to all of you during this unpredicted horrible nightmare. As this week progresses I’ll give more updates on how his children and family are holding up and there thoughts. So many heartwarming stories and pictures being sent to us, It’s truly amazing. He really was a super hero. To his little boys, And to the children in our community.

Officer Brian D. Sicknick tragically lost his life on January 7th, 2021 following injuries sustained during the events at the United States Capitol on Wednesday, January 6th.

Brian was a veteran and New Jersey native who served in the New Jersey Air National Guard. During this time, he served his country stateside and overseas in both Operation Desert Shield and Operation Enduring Freedom.

Officer Sicknick joined the United States Capitol Police in July of 2008 and on his most recent assignment he served on the First Responders Unit. Officer Sicknick shared a passion for the outdoors and became a member of the mountain bike unit with Capitol Police, patrolling the grounds daily. His fellow officers remember him as someone they could always count on to be there and also could always bring a smile or laugh to them.

There are no words to describe the loss of Officer Brian Sicknick. He will forever be remembered for his bravery and service to our country as a member of the military and a United States Capitol Police Officer.

This GoFundMe page was created and is being managed by a USCP officer that served with Officer Sicknick.

Donations received will go to family of Officer Brian Sicknick

At a press conference on Tuesday, Acting Police Chief Brian Amoroso thanked the community and other law enforcement agencies for their support and remembered Benedetti as a friend.

"I had the distinct pleasure of working with Luca over the past 9 years," Amoroso said. "He was a dedicated officer, a talented detective, a proud member of the San Luis Obispo Regional SWAT Team, and most importantly, a loving husband and father."

Benedetti is survived by a wife and two young children. He joined the San Luis Obispo Police Department in 2012. Prior to that, he served for four years with the Atascadero Police Department.

Trooper Dean Atkinson Jr., 27, was shot and wounded Thursday evening, Sept. 22, in Walla Walla. It's where he grew up. People here know him well.

So well that one of his high school coaches wasn't surprised Atkinson drove himself to the hospital after being shot in the face.

After being flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, he was listed Saturday in stable condition.
