Besides the fact that DJT's decision re making the military "transgender friendly" is on solid ground from a policy standpoint, he's doing a GREAT job pissing off the Left.

Gun Free Zones Aren’t an Inhibition….they’re an Invitation.
When I saw the news this morning I knew the Left would have their knickers in a knot.
Prepare for a Massive push back.
15K active trans service members? Somehow I sincerely doubt it's half that.
Semper Gumby, Always Flexible
get ready for it
and some liberal Hawaiian obama appointee forces the military to accept them and we begin the scotus path all over again
15k of 1.28 million active troops is 1.2% that's four times higher than the .3% for the general US population that's transgendered.
What they're also ignoring is that Trump has been mostly hands-off on military policy. This isn't Trump forcing policy on the military, this is policy that's coming from the the SecDef and the Joint Chiefs.
Whether you think you can or you can't, you're probably right.
Now, now, Bob...be nice.
Inquiring minds want to know: Does having two left feet impair liberals while marching?
/sarcasm
Hoo boy, been trying to tread delicately on this one… but DJT is on FIRE.
Move over Barry O. – THIS is how you do 'divisive'!
I'm kinda surprised that there's little DJT chatter on here. Other than the fact that this is a polite board. And DJT doesn't foster polite discourse. He fosters FIRE.
I will say, all in all I'm getting what I paid for!
My son has wanted to join the military since he was little. He had a corneal transplant as a teenager. He has to take a medication every couple days (small swipe of a cream in his eye) to prevent rejection of the graft. Brushing your teeth takes more tools and effort. He cannot get a medical waiver. He is otherwise healthy, gets decent grades, has a good work ethic and morals, and has never used any illicit drugs.
Since he cannot get a medical waiver, he cannot serve in the military. While I have no animosity to any transgendered person, if my son can't join up and serve, in no way in hell should they be allowed to. And that is just the surgery / medication issue...
