    Last range day of the year: 3" M36-1 and a 1 7/8" M36. The longer sight radius of the 3" gun is nice, but the laser grips on the short gun make any J-frame easy to shoot.

    My J Frame 642 with the lock removed and plug installed. XS Big Dot Tritium Front Sight. VZ Operator II Grips. ICON Holster. Comp 1 Speedloaders and a Tuff Products Speed Strip. Streamlight Pro Tac and Clinch Pick.
    Loaded with Black Hills 148gr. Wadcutters with Winchester 110gr. +P HP for reloads. Primarily used as my constant BUG to my 1911.

    @MDFA - How well does the CD2 hold onto the speedloader? I've been trying to figure out how to carry one.

    I haven't had any issue with them. They're spring steel so you can bend them inward to increase the pressure on the loader. I wear one with the loader aiwb rather than clipped to the outside of the belt. Hope this helps.

    How does the Big Dot fit into the stock rear notch. Did you do the install?
